Today, Sunday May 16, 2010, the NCHSA along with Race Promoter Richie Clippard saw over 301 riders, racing the Flat Rock Harescramble, held in Taylorsville, NC.

The PRO class had nine riders going at it for seven laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Chris Bach take control of the race, leading Jesse Robinson by two seconds. Bryan Henson came through in third place, ten seconds ahead of fourth place rider Trevor Connell. Greg Reynolds rounded out the top five. Somewhere during lap two Jesse Robinson took over the lead, and pulled six seconds over Chris Bach. Bryan Henson maintained third place forty five seconds over Greg Reynolds. Sam Chalk Jr. moved into fifth place, and chased by thirteen seconds. Lap three had second place rider Chris Bach closing the gap on Jesse Robinson to two seconds. Bryan Henson maintained third place, twenty four seconds over hard charging Sam Chalk Jr.. Matthew Pressley climbed into fifth place, and following by four seconds. On lap four Jesse Robinson cranked it up, and increased the lead to four seconds over Chris Bach. Bryan Henson held onto third place, twenty four seconds over Matthew Pressley. Sam Chalk Jr. feel off the pace to fifth place by thirty one seconds. Lap five ended with Chris Bach taking over the lead, and rocked on with a twenty seven seconds lead over Jesse Robinson. Bryan Henson held onto third place thirty seven seconds over Matthew Pressley. Sam Chalk Jr. still solid in fifth place by forty one seconds. Six laps in and Chris Bach stayed strong, rode great, and pushed the lead to thirty three seconds, messing with the mind of Jesse Robinson. Bryan Henson must like third place, and still holds an advantage of thirty five seconds over Matthew Pressley. Sam Chalk Jr. continues to block the entrance door to fifth place. Lucky lap seven showed that second place rider Jesse Robinson kept a cool mind, and continue to decrease the race lead to twenty eight seconds, trying to ruin the day of race leaderChris Bach. Bryan Henson is still controlling third place with a lead of twenty seven seconds over the ever chasing Matthew Pressley. Sam Chalk Jr. refuses to give up on a fifth place finish. In the end it was a great race with two different leaders, but it was Chris Bach taking the win, proving to be a just a little stronger, than Jesse Robinson, Bryan Henson, Matthew Pressley, and Sam Chalk Jr..


The AA class had seven riders going at it for seven laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Brett Compton take control of the race, leading Glenn Drum by three seconds. John Jordan came through in third place, one second ahead of fourth place rider Mitchell Hall. Tyler Bruton rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had second place rider Glenn Drum closing the gap on Brett Compton to one second. John Jordan maintained third place twelve seconds over Mitchell Hall. Tyler Bruton still chased in fifth place by seven seconds. On lap three Glenn Drum took over the lead, and pulled twelve seconds over Brett Compton. John Jordan maintained third place, five seconds over hard charging Tyler Bruton. Mitchell Hall slumped to fifth place by eight seconds. On lap four Glenn Drum cranked it up, and increased the lead to thirty three seconds over Brett Compton. Tyler Bruton turned up the throttle, and landed into third place, leading forth place racer John Jordan by five seconds. Mitchell Hall managed to stay in fifth place by six seconds. Lap five ended with second place rider Brett Compton picking up the pace, closing in on Glenn Drum reducing the time difference to six seconds. Tyler Bruton held onto third place three seconds over Mitchell Hall. Problems seemed apparent when John Jordan dropped to fifth place by one minute sixteen seconds. Six laps in, and Oh Man! Brett Compton just took over the lead, and pushed the lead to three seconds over Glenn Drum. Tyler Bruton must like third place, and still holds an advantage of twenty four seconds over Mitchell Hall. John Jordan continues to block the entrance door to fifth place. Lucky lap seven showed that Brett Compton kept a cool mind, and continue to increase the race lead to thirty four seconds, trying to ruin the day of second place racer Glenn Drum. Bobby Dedmon came through in third place, two seconds ahead of fourth place rider Caleb Young. Adam Harrold rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had Steve Henson on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to six seconds over Dustin Gross. Caleb Young moved into third place, and lead forth place rider Bobby Dedmon by three seconds. Adam Harrold still chased in fifth place by one minute nine seconds. Lap three had Steve Henson blistering the track, increasing the lead to ten seconds over Dustin Gross. Bobby Dedmon rocketed into third place, keeping forth place rider Caleb Young at bay by fifty four seconds. Adam Harrold stayed put in fifth place by twenty three seconds. On lap four Steve Henson still held a ten seconds lead over Dustin Gross. Bobby Dedmon held onto third place, one minute thirteen seconds over Adam Harrold. Caleb Young feel off the pace to fifth place by forty nine seconds. Lap five ended with second place rider Dustin Gross picking up the pace, closing in on Steve Henson reducing the time difference to four seconds. Bobby Dedmon held onto third place three minutes fourteen seconds over Adam Harrold. Caleb Young still solid in fifth place by twenty four seconds. Six laps in and Steve Henson stayed strong, rode great, and pushed the lead to nineteen seconds, messing with the mind of Dustin Gross. Bobby Dedmon must like third place, and still holds an advantage of two minutes twenty six seconds over Caleb Young. Adam Harrold might be getting tired, and has dropped to fifth place by twenty seven seconds. Lucky lap seven showed that Steve Henson kept a cool mind, and continue to increase the race lead to forty three seconds, trying to ruin the day of second place racer Dustin Gross. Bobby Dedmon is still controlling third place. In the end it was a good race, yet there was only one leader. Steve Henson controlled the whole race and took the victory, followed by Dustin Gross, Bobby Dedmon, Caleb Young, and Adam Harrold.


The OPEN-A class had three riders going at it for six laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Coty Ingram take control of the race, leading Jamie Dineen by one minute fourteen seconds. Andrew Taylor came through in third place following by two minutes fifty four seconds. Completion of lap two had Coty Ingram on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to three minutes ten seconds over Jamie Dineen. Andrew Taylor maintained third place. Lap three had Coty Ingram blistering the track, increasing the lead to four minutes sixteen seconds over Jamie Dineen. Andrew Taylor maintained third place. On lap four Coty Ingram cranked it up, and increased the lead to six minutes over Jamie Dineen. Andrew Taylor held onto third place. Lap five ended with Coty Ingram picking up the pace, increasing the lead to six minutes twenty five seconds over Jamie Dineen. Six laps in and Coty Ingram stayed strong, rode great, and pushed the lead to eleven minutes four seconds, messing with the mind of Jamie Dineen. In the end it was a good race, yet there was only one leader. Coty Ingram controlled the whole race and took the victory, followed by Jamie Dineen, and Andrew Taylor.


The VET-A class had five riders going at it for six laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Marc Hilton take control of the race, leading Jason Baldwin by twelve seconds. Kevin Pearson came through in third place, forty five seconds ahead of fourth place rider Brandon Eller. Terry Harris rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had second place rider Jason Baldwin closing the gap on Marc Hilton to two seconds. Kevin Pearson maintained third place two minutes twenty six seconds over Brandon Eller. Terry Harris still chased in fifth place by four minutes twenty five seconds. Lap three had Marc Hilton blistering the track, increasing the lead to twenty two seconds over Jason Baldwin. Kevin Pearson maintained third place, eight minutes fifty seconds over hard charging Brandon Eller. Terry Harris stayed put in fifth place by one minute thirty three seconds. On lap four Jason Baldwin grabbed the lead, and gapped one minute eleven seconds over Marc Hilton. Kevin Pearson held onto third place, eleven minutes twenty one seconds over Brandon Eller. Terry Harris managed to stay in fifth place by two minutes seventeen seconds. Lap five ended with second place rider Marc Hilton picking up the pace, closing in on Jason Baldwin reducing the time difference to thirty five seconds. Kevin Pearson held onto third place seventeen minutes twenty six seconds over Brandon Eller. Terry Harris still solid in fifth place by twenty nine seconds. Six laps in, and Oh Man! Marc Hilton just took over the lead, and pushed the lead to twenty six seconds over Kevin Pearson. Jason Baldwin, now in third place. In the end it was a great race with two different leaders, but it was Marc Hilton taking the win, proving to be a just a little stronger, than Kevin Pearson, Jason Baldwin, Brandon Eller, and Terry Harris.


The SEN-A class had eight riders going at it for six laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Mike Hampton take control of the race, leading Chris Biesecker by six seconds. Mike Kowalsky came through in third place, four seconds ahead of fourth place rider Mitchell Hampton. Mark Gaither rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had Mike Hampton on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to nineteen seconds over Mike Kowalsky. Mark Gaither moved into third place, and lead forth place rider Mitchell Hampton by sixteen seconds. David Sheehan moved into fifth place, and chased by fifteen seconds. Lap three had second place rider Mike Kowalsky closing the gap on Mike Hampton to eight seconds. Mark Gaither maintained third place, one minute twenty two seconds over hard charging Mitchell Hampton. David Sheehan stayed put in fifth place by sixteen seconds. On lap four Mike Kowalsky grabbed the lead, and gapped six seconds over Mike Hampton. Mark Gaither held onto third place, two minutes thirty eight seconds over Mitchell Hampton. David Sheehan managed to stay in fifth place by fifty six seconds. Lap five ended with Mike Kowalsky picking up the pace, increasing the lead to twelve seconds over Mark Gaither. Mike Hampton fell back to third place, now having to run from fourth place racer Mitchell Hampton. David Sheehan still solid in fifth place by one minute thirty eight seconds. Six laps in and second place rider Mike Hampton is staying strong, riding great, and flat out catching race leader Mike Kowalsky, who now holds a gap of four seconds. Mark Gaither, now in third place, five minutes one second ahead of Mitchell Hampton. David Sheehan continues to block the entrance door to fifth place. In the end it was a great race with two different leaders, but it was Mike Kowalsky taking the win, proving to be a just a little stronger, than Mike Hampton, Mark Gaither, Mitchell Hampton, and David Sheehan.


The MASTERS-A class had eight riders going at it for six laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Duane Cornett take control of the race, leading Mark Wooters by three seconds. Tracy Fuller came through in third place, twenty one seconds ahead of fourth place rider Ken Kennedy. Byron Hager rounded out the top five. Somewhere during lap two Mark Wooters took over the lead, and pulled twenty eight seconds over Duane Cornett. Ken Kennedy moved into third place, and lead forth place rider Tracy Fuller by two seconds. Joel Burgess moved into fifth place, and chased by one minute thirty three seconds. Lap three had Mark Wooters blistering the track, increasing the lead to one minute sixteen seconds over Ken Kennedy. Duane Cornett backed up to third place, still keeping Tracy Fuller at bay in forth by six seconds. Joel Burgess stayed put in fifth place by three minutes seventeen seconds. On lap four Mark Wooters cranked it up, and increased the lead to one minute thirty nine seconds over Ken Kennedy. Duane Cornett held onto third place, fifteen seconds over Tracy Fuller. Curtis Compton maintained third place six seconds over Aaron Morris. Mack Jones moved into fifth place, and chased by one minute six seconds. Lap three had Brandon Outz blistering the track, increasing the lead to two minutes forty three seconds over Dillon Eason. Aaron Morris rocketed into third place, keeping forth place rider Curtis Compton at bay by twenty five seconds. Mack Jones stayed put in fifth place by fifty four seconds. On lap four Brandon Outz cranked it up, and increased the lead to three minutes forty one seconds over Dillon Eason. Aaron Morris held onto third place, fifty eight seconds over Curtis Compton. Mack Jones managed to stay in fifth place by twenty eight seconds. Lap five ended with Brandon Outz picking up the pace, increasing the lead to four minutes thirty seven seconds over Dillon Eason. Lap one saw Landon Rudisill take control of the race, leading Devin Thomas by twenty eight seconds. Cory Wagoner came through in third place, twenty nine seconds ahead of fourth place rider Carson Gray. Aaron Parsons rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had Landon Rudisill on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to thirty eight seconds over Devin Thomas. Cory Wagoner maintained third place three minutes twenty eight seconds over Carson Gray. Matthew Carrigan moved into fifth place, and chased by one minute. On lap three Devin Thomas took over the lead, and pulled two minutes forty seconds over Landon Rudisill. Cory Wagoner maintained third place, six minutes forty nine seconds over hard charging Carson Gray. Aaron Parsons climbed into fifth place, and following by eleven seconds. On lap four, second place rider Landon Rudisill began reeling in Devin Thomas, closing to two minutes twenty four seconds. Cory Wagoner held onto third place, eight minutes ten seconds over Carson Gray. Lap five ended with second place rider Landon Rudisill picking up the pace, closing in on Devin Thomas reducing the time difference to two minutes five seconds. Cory Wagoner held onto third place. In the end it was a great race with two different leaders, but it was Devin Thomas taking the win, proving to be a just a little stronger, than Landon Rudisill, Cory Wagoner, Carson Gray, and Aaron Parsons.

Bailey Bryant came through in third place, thirty eight seconds ahead of fourth place rider Austin Morris. Zac Herrin rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had Jesse Harrold on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to three minutes forty six seconds over Hunter Bradshaw. Bailey Bryant maintained third place six minutes thirty seconds over Austin Morris. Jacob Eddy moved into fifth place, and chased by one minute fifteen seconds. Completion of lap two had second place rider Conner Smith closing the gap on Parker Jones to fifty five seconds. Dustin Smith maintained third place two minutes fifty six seconds over Caleb Sherrill. Conner Smith backed up to third place, still keeping Connor Campbell at bay in forth by four minutes ten seconds. Caleb Sherrill slumped to fifth place by thirty four seconds. The WOMEN-C class had eleven riders going at it for four laps during the one hour morning mini race. Lap one saw Mackenzie Thomas take control of the race, leading Samantha Penn by one minute eight seconds. Marlene Moore came through in third place, one minute fifty five seconds ahead of fourth place rider Cassie Ellis. Jenny Popp rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had Mackenzie Thomas on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to four minutes two seconds over Samantha Penn. Marlene Moore maintained third place two minutes forty six seconds over Jenny Popp. Cassie Ellis fell back, but still chased in fifth place by seven minutes forty nine seconds. Lap three had Mackenzie Thomas blistering the track, increasing the lead to five minutes fifteen seconds over Samantha Penn. Marlene Moore maintained third place, fifty seconds over hard charging Jenny Popp. Crystal Stephens climbed into fifth place, and following by twenty one minutes fifty four seconds. On lap four, second place rider Marlene Moore began reeling in Mackenzie Thomas, closing to four minutes forty seven seconds. Jenny Popp turned up the throttle, and landed into third place, leading forth place racer Samantha Penn by fourteen seconds. In the end it was a good race, yet there was only one leader.
