Today, Sunday June 27, 2010, the NCHSA along with Race Promoter Andy Barkley saw over 253 riders, racing the Denver Classic Harescramble, held in Denver, NC. |

The PRO class had twelve riders going at it for seven laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Timmy Luckadoo take control of the race, leading Greg Reynolds by two seconds. Trevor Connell came through in third place, two seconds ahead of fourth place rider Matthew Pressley. Matthew Nix rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had Timmy Luckadoo on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to four seconds over Greg Reynolds. Trevor Connell maintained third place two seconds over Matthew Pressley. Tj Snow moved into fifth place, and chased by three seconds. Lap three had Timmy Luckadoo blistering the track, increasing the lead to eight seconds over Greg Reynolds. Matthew Pressley rocketed into third place, keeping forth place rider Tj Snow at bay by two seconds. Matthew Nix climbed into fifth place, and following by three seconds. On lap four, second place rider Tj Snow began reeling in Timmy Luckadoo, closing to four seconds. Bryan Henson turned up the throttle, and landed into third place, leading forth place racer Matthew Pressley by two seconds. Matthew Nix managed to stay in fifth place by seventeen seconds. Lap five ended with Timmy Luckadoo picking up the pace, increasing the lead to ten seconds over Bryan Henson. Matthew Pressley slipped into third place, leading forth place racer Matthew Nix by two seconds. Life seemed good for Matt Beaty pulling into the top five. Six laps in, and Oh Man! Matthew Nix just took over the lead, and pushed the lead to four seconds over Matt Beaty. Bryan Henson, now in third place, two seconds ahead of Matthew Pressley. Coming on strong Greg Reynolds just powered into fifth position. Lucky lap seven showed that second place rider Matt Beaty kept a cool mind, and continue to decrease the race lead to two seconds, trying to ruin the day of race leaderMatthew Nix. Bryan Henson is still controlling third place with a lead of eighteen seconds over the ever chasing Matthew Pressley. Greg Reynolds refuses to give up on a fifth place finish. In the end it was a great race with two different leaders, but it was Matthew Nix taking the win, proving to be a just a little stronger, than Matt Beaty, Bryan Henson, Matthew Pressley, and Greg Reynolds. |

Brett Compton came through in third place, six seconds ahead of fourth place rider John Jordan. Wyatt Farlow rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had Glenn Drum on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to thirty six seconds over Tyler Bruton. Brett Compton maintained third place twenty two seconds over John Jordan. Wyatt Farlow still chased in fifth place by forty seconds. Lap three had Glenn Drum blistering the track, increasing the lead to forty nine seconds over Brett Compton. Tyler Bruton backed up to third place, still keeping John Jordan at bay in forth by two seconds. Wyatt Farlow stayed put in fifth place by fifty four seconds. On lap four Glenn Drum cranked it up, and increased the lead to one minute three seconds over Brett Compton. John Jordan turned up the throttle, and landed into third place, leading forth place racer Tyler Bruton by twenty three seconds. Wyatt Farlow managed to stay in fifth place by one minute nine seconds. Lap five ended with second place rider Brett Compton picking up the pace, closing in on Glenn Drum reducing the time difference to fifty five seconds. John Jordan held onto third place twenty five seconds over Tyler Bruton. Wyatt Farlow still solid in fifth place by two minutes. Six laps in and second place rider Brett Compton is staying strong, riding great, and flat out catching race leader Glenn Drum, who now holds a gap of forty nine seconds. John Jordan must like third place, and still holds an advantage of seventeen seconds over Tyler Bruton. Wyatt Farlow continues to block the entrance door to fifth place. Lucky lap seven showed that second place rider Brett Compton kept a cool mind, and continue to decrease the race lead to thirty six seconds, trying to ruin the day of race leaderGlenn Drum. Tyler Bruton does not seem to know how late in the race it is. Moving into third place, eleven seconds ahead of John Jordan. Wyatt Farlow refuses to give up on a fifth place finish. In the end it was a good race, yet there was only one leader. Glenn Drum controlled the whole race and took the victory, followed by Brett Compton, Tyler Bruton, John Jordan, and Wyatt Farlow. |
