Today, Sunday July 11, 2010, the NCHSA along with Race Promoter Ken Edens - Vance Earl saw over 253 riders, racing the Brown Jug Harescramble, held in Union, SC.

The PRO class had eighteen riders going at it for six laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Steward Baylor take control of the race, leading Jesse Robinson by twenty seconds. Corey Macdonald came through in third place, forty eight seconds ahead of fourth place rider Tj Snow. Trevor Connell rounded out the top five. Somewhere during lap two Jesse Robinson took over the lead, and pulled thirteen seconds over Steward Baylor. Corey Macdonald maintained third place one minute twenty five seconds over Tj Snow. Trevor Connell still chased in fifth place by nine seconds. Lap three had second place rider Steward Baylor closing the gap on Jesse Robinson to ten seconds. Corey Macdonald maintained third place, one minute thirty eight seconds over hard charging Trevor Connell. Bryan Henson climbed into fifth place, and following by fourteen seconds. On lap four Jesse Robinson cranked it up, and increased the lead to two minutes eleven seconds over Steward Baylor. Corey Macdonald held onto third place, two minutes twelve seconds over Trevor Connell. Bryan Henson managed to stay in fifth place by forty two seconds. Lap five ended with Jesse Robinson picking up the pace, increasing the lead to two minutes forty three seconds over Steward Baylor. Corey Macdonald held onto third place two minutes fifty three seconds over Trevor Connell. Bryan Henson still solid in fifth place by seven seconds. Six laps in and Jesse Robinson stayed strong, rode great, and pushed the lead to three minutes two seconds, messing with the mind of Steward Baylor. Corey Macdonald must like third place, and still holds an advantage of two minutes fifty seven seconds over Trevor Connell. Bryan Henson continues to block the entrance door to fifth place. In the end it was a great race with two different leaders, but it was Jesse Robinson taking the win, proving to be a just a little stronger, than Steward Baylor, Corey Macdonald, Trevor Connell, and Bryan Henson.


The AA class had four riders going at it for six laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Brett Compton take control of the race, leading Glenn Drum by two seconds. John Jordan came through in third place, twenty four seconds ahead of fourth place rider Chris Gosselin. Completion of lap two had Brett Compton on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to twelve seconds over John Jordan. Glenn Drum fell to third place, but held a lead of thirty seconds over Chris Gosselin running forth. Lap three had second place rider Glenn Drum closing the gap on Brett Compton to two seconds. Chris Gosselin rocketed into third place, keeping forth place rider John Jordan at bay by fifty seconds. On lap four Brett Compton cranked it up, and increased the lead to six seconds over Glenn Drum. Chris Gosselin held onto third place. Lap five ended with Brett Compton picking up the pace, increasing the lead to fifty five seconds over Glenn Drum. Chris Gosselin held onto third place. Six laps in and second place rider Glenn Drum is staying strong, riding great, and flat out catching race leader Brett Compton, who now holds a gap of forty one seconds. Chris Gosselin must like third place. In the end it was a good race, yet there was only one leader. Brett Compton controlled the whole race and took the victory, followed by Glenn Drum, Chris Gosselin, and John Jordan.


The 250-A class had five riders going at it for six laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Bobby Dedmon take control of the race, leading Dylan Bean by two seconds. Trevor Marks came through in third place, forty five seconds ahead of fourth place rider Adam Harrold. Jamie Holcomb rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had Bobby Dedmon on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to seven seconds over Dylan Bean. Trevor Marks maintained third place four minutes twenty eight seconds over Jamie Holcomb. Adam Harrold fell back, but still chased in fifth place by forty one minutes forty nine seconds. On lap three Dylan Bean took over the lead, and pulled two minutes forty two seconds over Bobby Dedmon. Trevor Marks maintained third place, four minutes fifty seconds over hard charging Jamie Holcomb. Adam Harrold stayed put in fifth place by thirty seven minutes twenty four seconds. On lap four Dylan Bean cranked it up, and increased the lead to five minutes fifteen seconds over Bobby Dedmon. Trevor Marks held onto third place, six minutes twelve seconds over Jamie Holcomb. Lap five ended with Dylan Bean picking up the pace, increasing the lead to five minutes fifty seven seconds over Bobby Dedmon. Trevor Marks held onto third place five minutes six seconds over Jamie Holcomb. During lap six Dylan Bean stayed strong, rode great, and kept the lead. In the end it was a great race with two different leaders, but it was Dylan Bean taking the win, proving to be a just a little stronger, than Bobby Dedmon, Trevor Marks, Jamie Holcomb, and Adam Harrold.


The OPEN-A class had five riders going at it for five laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Michael Collins take control of the race, leading Bill Jenkinson by nine seconds. Andrew Taylor came through in third place, eleven seconds ahead of fourth place rider Jamie Dineen. Adam Warner rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had Michael Collins on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to seventeen seconds over Bill Jenkinson. Andrew Taylor maintained third place. Lap three had second place rider Bill Jenkinson closing the gap on Michael Collins to six seconds. Andrew Taylor maintained third place. On lap four Michael Collins cranked it up, and increased the lead to thirty six seconds over Bill Jenkinson. Andrew Taylor held onto third place. Lap five ended with second place rider Bill Jenkinson picking up the pace, closing in on Michael Collins reducing the time difference to seventeen seconds. Andrew Taylor held onto third place. In the end it was a good race, yet there was only one leader. Michael Collins controlled the whole race and took the victory, followed by Bill Jenkinson, Andrew Taylor, Jamie Dineen, and Adam Warner.


The VET-A class had five riders going at it for five laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Marc Hilton take control of the race, leading Will Benton by nine seconds. Eric Benoit came through in third place, two seconds ahead of fourth place rider Travis Walker. Kevin Pearson rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had second place rider Will Benton closing the gap on Marc Hilton to six seconds. Travis Walker moved into third place, and lead forth place rider Eric Benoit by twenty seconds. Kevin Pearson still chased in fifth place by six seconds. Lap three had second place rider Travis Walker closing the gap on Marc Hilton to three seconds. Will Benton backed up to third place, still keeping Kevin Pearson at bay in forth by eight seconds. Eric Benoit slumped to fifth place by thirty seconds. On lap four Travis Walker grabbed the lead, and gapped thirty seconds over Marc Hilton. Kevin Pearson turned up the throttle, and landed into third place, leading forth place racer Will Benton by forty four seconds. Lap five ended with Travis Walker picking up the pace, increasing the lead to fifty four seconds over Marc Hilton. Kevin Pearson held onto third place forty five seconds over Will Benton. In the end it was a great race with two different leaders, but it was Travis Walker taking the win, proving to be a just a little stronger, than Marc Hilton, Kevin Pearson, Will Benton, and Eric Benoit.


The SEN-A class had four riders going at it for five laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Mike Hampton take control of the race, leading Mike Kowalsky by two seconds. Mitchell Hampton came through in third place, forty six seconds ahead of fourth place rider Chris Biesecker. Somewhere during lap two Mike Kowalsky took over the lead, and pulled ten seconds over Mike Hampton. Mitchell Hampton maintained third place. Lap three had Mike Kowalsky blistering the track, increasing the lead to forty one seconds over Mike Hampton. Mitchell Hampton maintained third place. On lap four Mike Kowalsky cranked it up, and increased the lead to three minutes five seconds over Mitchell Hampton. Lap five ended with Mike Kowalsky picking up the pace, increasing the lead to three minutes ten seconds over Mitchell Hampton. In the end it was a great race with two different leaders, but it was Mike Kowalsky taking the win, proving to be a just a little stronger, than Mitchell Hampton, Mike Hampton, and Chris Biesecker.


The MASTERS-A class had seven riders going at it for five laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Duane Cornett take control of the race, leading Mark Wooters by two seconds. Ken Kennedy came through in third place, twenty eight seconds ahead of fourth place rider Joel Burgess. Richard Patterson rounded out the top five. Somewhere during lap two Mark Wooters took over the lead, and pulled one minute fourteen seconds over Duane Cornett. Ken Kennedy maintained third place one minute thirty five seconds over Joel Burgess. Richard Patterson still chased in fifth place by four minutes forty four seconds. Lap three had second place rider Ken Kennedy closing the gap on Mark Wooters to one minute one second. Duane Cornett backed up to third place, still keeping Joel Burgess at bay in forth by three minutes forty five seconds. Wayne Brown climbed into fifth place, and following by seven minutes twenty four seconds. On lap four Mark Wooters cranked it up, and increased the lead to one minute four seconds over Ken Kennedy. Duane Cornett held onto third place, five minutes over Joel Burgess. Wayne Brown managed to stay in fifth place by nine minutes eight seconds. Lap five ended with second place rider Ken Kennedy picking up the pace, closing in on Mark Wooters reducing the time difference to thirteen seconds. Duane Cornett held onto third place seven minutes nine seconds over Joel Burgess. In the end it was a great race with two different leaders, but it was Mark Wooters taking the win, proving to be a just a little stronger, than Ken Kennedy, Duane Cornett, Joel Burgess, and Wayne Brown.


The 250-B class had eleven riders going at it for five laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Rafe Laws take control of the race, leading Ben Warner by one minute. Will Pegram came through in third place, three seconds ahead of fourth place rider Ryan Gundrum. Jonathan Williams rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had Rafe Laws on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to one minute thirty one seconds over Ben Warner. Will Pegram maintained third place four seconds over Ryan Gundrum. Jonathan Williams still chased in fifth place by one minute ten seconds. Lap three had Rafe Laws blistering the track, increasing the lead to two minutes twenty two seconds over Ben Warner. Will Pegram maintained third place, one minute fifteen seconds over hard charging Ryan Gundrum. Jonathan Williams stayed put in fifth place by three seconds. On lap four Rafe Laws cranked it up, and increased the lead to two minutes fifty seven seconds over Ben Warner. Will Pegram held onto third place, two seconds over Jonathan Williams. Ryan Bruce picked it up into fifth place, following by four minutes thirty eight seconds. Lap five ended with Rafe Laws picking up the pace, increasing the lead to four minutes fifty one seconds over Ben Warner. Jonathan Williams slipped into third place, leading forth place racer Will Pegram by three minutes twenty two seconds. Ryan Bruce still solid in fifth place by two minutes forty five seconds. In the end it was a good race, yet there was only one leader. Rafe Laws controlled the whole race and took the victory, followed by Ben Warner, Jonathan Williams, Will Pegram, and Ryan Bruce.


The 200-B class had eight riders going at it for five laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Caleb Garrow take control of the race, leading Trey Hicks by fourteen seconds. Scott Davis came through in third place, fourteen seconds ahead of fourth place rider Adam Phillips. Brandon Outz rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had Caleb Garrow on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to one minute forty seconds over Adam Phillips. Scott Davis maintained third place four minutes twenty two seconds over Trey Hicks. Jason Colton moved into fifth place, and chased by one minute two seconds. Lap three had Caleb Garrow blistering the track, increasing the lead to two minutes nine seconds over Adam Phillips. Scott Davis maintained third place, eight minutes twenty three seconds over hard charging Jason Colton. Trey Hicks slumped to fifth place by thirteen minutes sixteen seconds. On lap four Caleb Garrow cranked it up, and increased the lead to two minutes thirty seven seconds over Adam Phillips. Scott Davis held onto third place, ten minutes two seconds over Jason Colton. Taylor Pegram picked it up into fifth place, following by twenty one minutes twenty four seconds. Lap five ended with Caleb Garrow picking up the pace, increasing the lead to four minutes thirty seven seconds over Adam Phillips. Scott Davis held onto third place nine minutes forty seven seconds over Jason Colton. In the end it was a good race, yet there was only one leader. Caleb Garrow controlled the whole race and took the victory, followed by Adam Phillips, Scott Davis, Jason Colton, and Taylor Pegram.


The OPEN-B class had six riders going at it for five laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Logan Cooke take control of the race, leading Kurt Singleton by one minute twenty six seconds. Randy Catoe came through in third place, thirty three seconds ahead of fourth place rider Todd Motley. Allen Bennett rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had Logan Cooke on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to three minutes fourteen seconds over Kurt Singleton. Randy Catoe maintained third place one minute forty six seconds over Allen Bennett. Jeremy Hartsell moved into fifth place, and chased by nine minutes thirty seven seconds.
