Today, Sunday July 25, 2010, the NCHSA along with Race Promoter Mike Culler saw over 268 riders, racing the Mountain Challenge II Harescramble, held in Wilkesboro, NC. |

The PRO class had eleven riders going at it for six laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Tj Snow take control of the race, leading Trevor Barrett by seven seconds. Jason Gilleland came through in third place, seven seconds ahead of fourth place rider Matthew Pressley. Zach Radford rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had Tj Snow on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to twenty four seconds over Trevor Barrett. Matthew Pressley moved into third place, and lead forth place rider Jason Gilleland by seven seconds. Trevor Connell moved into fifth place, and chased by four seconds. Lap three had Tj Snow blistering the track, increasing the lead to forty nine seconds over Trevor Barrett. Matthew Pressley maintained third place, twenty seconds over hard charging Jason Gilleland. Trevor Connell stayed put in fifth place by four seconds. On lap four, second place rider Matthew Pressley began reeling in Tj Snow, closing to forty five seconds. Trevor Barrett slowed to third place, now having to protect the position from fourth place racer Trevor Connell. Jason Gilleland feel off the pace to fifth place by seven seconds. Lap five ended with second place rider Matthew Pressley picking up the pace, closing in on Tj Snow reducing the time difference to twenty five seconds. Trevor Barrett held onto third place thirty two seconds over Jason Gilleland. Problems seemed apparent when Trevor Connell dropped to fifth place by eight seconds. Six laps in and second place rider Matthew Pressley is staying strong, riding great, and flat out catching race leader Tj Snow, who now holds a gap of twenty one seconds. Trevor Barrett must like third place, and still holds an advantage of four seconds over Jason Gilleland. Trevor Connell continues to block the entrance door to fifth place. In the end it was a good race, yet there was only one leader. Tj Snow controlled the whole race and took the victory, followed by Matthew Pressley, Trevor Barrett, Jason Gilleland, and Trevor Connell. |

The AA class had four riders going at it for six laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Tyler Bruton take control of the race, leading Glenn Drum by twenty two seconds. Brett Compton came through in third place, three seconds ahead of fourth place rider Chris Gosselin. Somewhere during lap two Glenn Drum took over the lead, and pulled eight seconds over Tyler Bruton. Chris Gosselin moved into third place, and lead forth place rider Brett Compton by thirteen minutes nine seconds. On lap three Tyler Bruton took over the lead, and pulled eleven seconds over Glenn Drum. Chris Gosselin maintained third place, thirty three minutes five seconds over hard charging Brett Compton. On lap four Tyler Bruton cranked it up, and increased the lead to fifteen seconds over Glenn Drum. Chris Gosselin held onto third place, forty three minutes five seconds over Brett Compton. Lap five ended with second place rider Glenn Drum picking up the pace, closing in on Tyler Bruton reducing the time difference to four seconds. Chris Gosselin held onto third place. Six laps in, and Oh Man! Glenn Drum just took over the lead, and pushed the lead to one minute twenty seven seconds over Tyler Bruton. Chris Gosselin must like third place. In the end it was a great race with two different leaders, but it was Glenn Drum taking the win, proving to be a just a little stronger, than Tyler Bruton, Chris Gosselin, and Brett Compton. |

The 250-A class had seven riders going at it for six laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Bobby Dedmon take control of the race, leading Trevor Marks by thirty four seconds. Adam Harrold came through in third place, two seconds ahead of fourth place rider Caleb Young. Dylan Bean rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had Bobby Dedmon on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to one minute thirty four seconds over Trevor Marks. Dustin Gross moved into third place, and lead forth place rider Dylan Bean by twelve seconds. Adam Harrold fell back, but still chased in fifth place by fourteen seconds. Lap three had Bobby Dedmon blistering the track, increasing the lead to two minutes fifty eight seconds over Dustin Gross. Trevor Marks backed up to third place, still keeping Adam Harrold at bay in forth by one minute nine seconds. Jamie Holcomb climbed into fifth place, and following by five minutes twenty three seconds. On lap four Bobby Dedmon cranked it up, and increased the lead to three minutes nineteen seconds over Dustin Gross. Adam Harrold turned up the throttle, and landed into third place, leading forth place racer Trevor Marks by five minutes nine seconds. Jamie Holcomb managed to stay in fifth place by seven minutes forty eight seconds. Lap five ended with Bobby Dedmon picking up the pace, increasing the lead to four minutes thirty six seconds over Dustin Gross. Adam Harrold held onto third place fifteen minutes twelve seconds over Jamie Holcomb. Six laps in and Bobby Dedmon stayed strong, rode great, and pushed the lead to six minutes, messing with the mind of Dustin Gross. Adam Harrold must like third place. In the end it was a good race, yet there was only one leader. Bobby Dedmon controlled the whole race and took the victory, followed by Dustin Gross, Adam Harrold, Jamie Holcomb, and Trevor Marks. |

Terry Harris came through in third place, one minute nineteen seconds ahead of fourth place rider Marc Hilton. Lap five ended with David Rhine picking up the pace, increasing the lead to five minutes twenty eight seconds over Casey Leatherman. Camden Lane fell back to third place, now having to run from fourth place racer Tyrel Swanson. In the end it was a good race, yet there was only one leader. Lap one saw Michael Biddix take control of the race, leading Jon Woodward by eleven seconds. Jason Brinker came through in third place, twenty seven seconds ahead of fourth place rider David Walker. Brent Buntyn rounded out the top five. Somewhere during lap two Jason Brinker took over the lead, and pulled fifteen seconds over Jon Woodward. Brent Buntyn moved into third place, and lead forth place rider Michael Biddix by three seconds. Bobby Flinchum moved into fifth place, and chased by nine minutes twenty three seconds. On lap three Brent Buntyn took over the lead, and pulled thirty seconds over Jason Brinker. Bobby Flinchum rocketed into third place, keeping forth place rider Jon Woodward at bay by nine minutes two seconds. Michael Biddix slumped to fifth place by three minutes thirty nine seconds. On lap four Brent Buntyn cranked it up, and increased the lead to two minutes eight seconds over Jason Brinker. Bobby Flinchum held onto third place. In the end it was an awesome race with three different leaders battling to the end, but it was Brent Buntyn who claimed victory, over the hard chargings of Jason Brinker, Bobby Flinchum, Jon Woodward, and Michael Biddix. |

Damon Oakes maintained third place, thirty six seconds over hard charging Cody Roten. Garrett Potts climbed into fifth place, and following by forty three seconds. On lap four Casey Leatherman cranked it up, and increased the lead to one minute twenty three seconds over Curtis Compton. Damon Oakes held onto third place, fifty six seconds over Cody Roten. Billy Cherry picked it up into fifth place, following by fifteen seconds. Lap five ended with second place rider Curtis Compton picking up the pace, closing in on Casey Leatherman reducing the time difference to one minute seventeen seconds. Cody Roten slipped into third place, leading forth place racer Dillon Eason by two minutes four seconds. Life seemed good for Garrett Potts pulling into the top five. In the end it was a good race, yet there was only one leader.
