Today, Sunday August 08, 2010, the NCHSA along with Race Promoter Gray Leonard saw over 310 riders, racing the Keep It Roostin.com Harescramble, held in Boonville, NC. |

The PRO class had seventeen riders going at it for seven laps during the two hour morning Pro/A race. Lap one saw Matthew Welborn take control of the race, leading Vance Earl by one second. Mckinnon Welborn came through in third place, two seconds ahead of fourth place rider Bryan Henson. Kailub Russell rounded out the top five. Somewhere during lap two Mckinnon Welborn took over the lead, and pulled four seconds over Kailub Russell. Bryan Henson moved into third place, and lead forth place rider Matthew Welborn by twenty eight seconds. Vance Earl fell back, but still chased in fifth place by four seconds. On lap three Kailub Russell took over the lead, and pulled thirty five seconds over Mckinnon Welborn. Bryan Henson maintained third place, forty one seconds over hard charging Matthew Nix. Vance Earl stayed put in fifth place by three seconds. On lap four Kailub Russell cranked it up, and increased the lead to one minute six seconds over Mckinnon Welborn. Bryan Henson held onto third place, thirty seven seconds over Matthew Nix. Vance Earl managed to stay in fifth place by two seconds. Lap five ended with Kailub Russell picking up the pace, increasing the lead to one minute thirty two seconds over Mckinnon Welborn. Bryan Henson held onto third place one minute two seconds over Vance Earl. Problems seemed apparent when Matthew Nix dropped to fifth place by twenty one seconds. Six laps in and Kailub Russell stayed strong, rode great, and pushed the lead to two minutes thirty two seconds, messing with the mind of Mckinnon Welborn. Bryan Henson must like third place, and still holds an advantage of one minute four seconds over Vance Earl. Coming on strong Charkie Huegel just powered into fifth position. Lucky lap seven showed that Kailub Russell kept a cool mind, and continue to increase the race lead to two minutes fifty two seconds, trying to ruin the day of second place racer Bryan Henson. Mckinnon Welborn could be feeling the length of this race, and has fallen back to third place. Keeping it real though, with a lead of one minute twenty one seconds ahead of hard charging Vance Earl. Charkie Huegel refuses to give up on a fifth place finish. In the end it was an awesome race with three different leaders battling to the end, but it was Kailub Russell who claimed victory, over the hard chargings of Bryan Henson, Mckinnon Welborn, Vance Earl, and Charkie Huegel. |

Brett Compton came through in third place, two seconds ahead of fourth place rider Chris Gosselin. Lester Partlow rounded out the top five. Completion of lap two had Glenn Drum on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to twenty three seconds over Tyler Bruton. Brett Compton maintained third place twenty nine seconds over Lester Partlow. Willie Bradshaw moved into fifth place, and chased by one minute fifty three seconds. Lap three had Glenn Drum blistering the track, increasing the lead to one minute eighteen seconds over Brett Compton. Tyler Bruton backed up to third place, still keeping Lester Partlow at bay in forth by twenty eight seconds. Willie Bradshaw stayed put in fifth place by two minutes nine seconds. On lap four Glenn Drum cranked it up, and increased the lead to one minute fifty three seconds over Brett Compton. Lester Partlow turned up the throttle, and landed into third place, leading forth place racer Willie Bradshaw by two minutes forty six seconds. Tyler Bruton feel off the pace to fifth place by seven minutes fifty one seconds. Lap five ended with Glenn Drum picking up the pace, increasing the lead to two minutes fifty five seconds over Brett Compton. Lester Partlow held onto third place three minutes twenty seconds over Willie Bradshaw. Tyler Bruton still solid in fifth place by five minutes fifty three seconds. Completion of lap two had Bobby Dedmon on the gas hard, pulling away, and increasing the lead to one minute five seconds over Dylan Bean. Adam Harrold fell to third place, but held a lead of two seconds over Trevor Marks running forth. Caleb Young moved into fifth place, and chased by one minute twenty seconds. Lap three had Bobby Dedmon blistering the track, increasing the lead to one minute thirty two seconds over Dylan Bean. Trevor Marks rocketed into third place, keeping forth place rider Caleb Young at bay by one minute twenty three seconds. Dustin Gross climbed into fifth place, and following by four minutes fifty three seconds.
